Ken's Story

Ken Bauer has spent more than 50 years around engines. He started drag racing at age 5, came to South Louisiana in 1986 at 26 to work on the Candies & Hughes Top Fuel funny car team with his childhood friend, driver Mark Oswald, and later ran his own bracket car. When he retired from racing, he opened Tri-Parish Coatings & Accessories in 1998.

More than 25 years later, the shop is still on N Hollywood Rd, and so is the crew. Ken's promise hasn't changed: "Whether you spend a dollar or $10,000, I treat you the same." We stand behind our work 100%, use quality materials, and have made it through every hurricane since 1998.

Today we're three operations under one roof: coatings and truck accessories, RV parts and supplies, and Tri-Parish Trailers, Service Bodies & Flatbeds next door.
